Poptart is a very fancy FEI quality German Riding Pony mare by Popeye and out of our own Die Chanel, imported GRP mare by Der Feine Lord X Chantre B. Poptart was awarded ISR Premium Filly at her foal inspection earning an overall score of 8.1. Poptart is a very talented and correct mare, and this little sports car is looking for just the right match. Poptart competed in 2023 with a Junior rider qualifying for Regionals at Training and First Level, where she further qualified for US Dressage Finals with scores in the 70’s. Poptart has been to a few schooling jumping shows and has schooled cross country, but her talent is really in the dressage ring. Poptart has been in full training with a classical trainer for a year and is now schooling 3rd & 4th level movements and shopping for a double bridle.

Popeye is the only pony stallion (and one of only a handful of all stallions) that has been awarded 5 Stars with ISR/OldenburgNA. Popeye finished fourth overall with an 8.3 at his 30-Day Stallion test in Germany. His walk and character each received scores of 9 or higher. In his first year in the US, Popeye was Reserve Champion of the USDF East Coast Stallion Final in Dressage at Devon. Popeye has shown through 4th Level dressage with scores in the 70’s and was the 2011 Reserve Champion for Fourth Level at the BLM Finals. To showcase his versatility, Popeye began eventing in the fall of 2012 and has competed successful up to Training Level, with two different riders, often finishing on his dressage score.

Poptart is sensitive and eager to please and really needs a kind and confident rider to help her be at her best. She is a excellent prospect for a kind and quiet Junior rider in a program with aspirations for FEI Children’s or she would make a fun ride for a competent adult amatuer in the new pony/small horse classes, with the talent and quality to compete against the Warmbloods as well.
